Critic William Porter of The Denver Post visited a popular Berkeley pub twice to write today's review, and surprise! That's just what he got — a pub. Giving Billy's Inn a "good," which is a Post minimum, Porter says the gut bomb burgers are where it's at and some of the "beyond-the-burrito Mexican dishes" are also satisfying. With an impressive variety of tequila, a good line-up of drafts and some classic pub food, Porters only complaints are that the staff seems a little slow and that a burger topped with peanut butter should be called an Elvis burger. Well folks, it could be worse.
