This week's Westword review took critic Laura Shunk to Land of Sushi in Centennial, where she was waited on hand and foot, as a critic should be treated. She was dazzled by enthusiastic servers, feed live scallops (don't worry, they weren't alive when she was eating them, she assures) and lured by quivering uni. "Bracingly cold, it slid down my throat and into my belly, cooling my innards as it traveled," she wrote admirably of the uni. Between the service and the extra fresh menu offerings, Shunk said she's hooked.
