With Chipotle fast-food restaurants scattered across the country in nearly every metropolitan city, it's great to remember that it all started in Denver back in 1997 when Steve Ells opened the first Chipotle on Evans near the DU campus.The Denver Business Journal released its ninth annual list of the 'Best Places to Work' in the Denver area after a careful selection process, largely influenced by employee opinion, and Chipotle placed 2nd in the mega-company (750+ employees) category.
