DOWNTOWN— With three locations and a major choke on the gluten-free market, Udi's will be opening downtown in the beginning of 2012. Since the company already makes daily deliveries downtown, the CEO of Udi's told Westword it was the appropriate move to make. Udi's downtown will serve breakfast and lunch at 1001 17th Street. CITY PARK— Some really needed to figure out a way for cyclists to get their buzz on during bike repairs, and Peter Roper did just that. Today, with his business partner Jessica Caouette, Roper will open Denver Bicycle Cafe, which specializes in bike repairs, cycling culture, great coffee and local beer. [Westword]
UPTOWN— Steuben's is giving you permission to get drunk and dress like Michael J. Fox at this year's annual toy drive on Dec. 5 cleverly themed "Back To The Toy Drive." Every toy donated is equivalent to two drink tickets. [Denver Off The Wagon]
