STATEWIDE— More than 1,300 Colorado drivers have earned themselves DUIs since Thanksgiving according to the Colorado State Patrol. That number is expected to climb this weekend, and thanks to MillerCoors, party-goers have $10 cab vouchers at select restaurants in Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Greeley and Loveland. Those ringing in the New Year in Denver have access to free RTD public transportation from 7 p.m. on New Year's Eve to 6 a.m. on New Year's Day. [The Denver Post]
DENVER— Could Denver be the next city to get In-N-Out Burger? It's possible, especially if you trust the word of District 8 City Councilman Albus Brooks, who recently announced on Facebook that it's one of his missions to get the chain in the 303. [The Denver Post]
BRECKENRIDGE— While the lure of the mountains usually isn't nightlife, Breckenridge is a decent destination where bars are concerned. OnTheSnow.com users voted the town the best nightlife spot in North American for ending an active day of mountain sports. [Summit Daily]
