Marco's Clears The Air About New Neighbor

Marco's Coal-Fired Pizza, which got a new pizza neighbor this week when Ignite! Fire Crafted Food + Rooftop Bar opened its doors, responded on Facebook to a Denver Post article that made light of the competition.

"We here at Marco?s just wanted to respond to the Denver Post article on Christmas Day titled ?Dueling Pizza Places..? by saying that there is really no duel to speak of. Like anyone, we appreciate being likened to an 800 Pound Gorilla but in truth we welcome Ignite Fire Crafted Food+Rooftop Bar to the block, wish them luck with their Gastropub and invite them over to Marco?s for 2-for-1 drinks 2-6pm Sunday-Thursday! And remember, at Marco's, Pizza isn't an afterthought - its our only thought."
