Chef Jennifer Jasinski's A Perfect Bite has been selected in Food 52's annual Piglet Tournament of Cookbooks, a NCAA-style competition featuring some of the hottest cookbooks on the market. While her cookbook was written with recipes from the Rioja kitchen, Jasinski is also behind Bistro Vendôme and Euclid Hall with partner Beth Gruitch. The Perfect Bite will face-off with titles from star chefs like Andrew Carmellini, Ferran Adrià and Christina Tosi . The cookbooks will judged and cooked from by a panel of super foodies, including chef Alice Waters and Bon Appetite food editor Hunter Lewis. While of course the food experts have a lot of pull, Food 52 is calling on readers to narrow down the selection as well. The competition starts Jan. 18th.
