Critic Says District Meats Has Some Growing Up To Do

New, 1 comment

After a relatively good Eater Early Word, Charlie Palmer's District Meats needs to bring more to the table according to The Denver Post. Critic William Porter grills the meatopia in today's review, dangling a single star over the Wazee installment. While the space is handsome and Palmer's pedigree is acknowledged, Porter is not so much impressed. Porter says the place may have promise, but the food and service are both lacking. A duck dish left Porter feeling robbed, claiming it "a stunning disappointment," and inattentive service didn't help matters either. "If it wants to last longer than its predecessors, it needs to snap to on the details."
