Blogger Ruth Tobias of Denveater is pretty gung-ho about Phat Thai, aside from the fact that the space is a bit glamorous, or a bit too much like a "glorified Chipotle" for Thai food. Though, Phat Thai is in Cherry Creek afterall, and nothing short of aesthetically pleasing can be found in that neck of the woods. The food was damn good, but she did have some issues with seasoning. Luckily each table has a variety of condiments to remedy any shortcoming. Chef Mark Fischer's tilapia, duck and goat dishes were all standouts, but whatever you get, Tobias says "you’d sure as shooting better wash it down with drinking vinegar in any of 4 flavors (I heart the tamarind)...Chug, glug, smack lips, repeat."

Daily Camera's food critic Liz Moskow went on a seven-day pho tour in and around Boulder, and ya know what? For once, Boulder didn't have the best. That's right, Broomfield's Pho 79 IV was the real winner. Moskow runs through all 10 pho restaurants in her review, dishing the every subtle detail from broth flavor to garnishes.
