Have you seen La Merise yet? It's that charming bistro that took the place of Robert Thompson's shuttered Argyll on 3rd Avenue. Owners Elena Zasytiene and Baiba Sisco recruited chef Michael Garnish out of San Francisco to run the kitchen, hoping to give Denver a taste of the culture they adore. Garnish told Westword back in October that the menu was designed to feature recognizable and unpretentious dishes at reasonable prices. The restaurant has yet to be reviewed, but here's a peek inside the Parisian bistro.
