Sunday Dinners at ChoLon; Exclusive Event at Frasca

LODOChoLon, the Asian-influenced eatery, will now be open seven days a week. Beginning on Sunday, October 21, ChoLon will offer dinner service on Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. There will be Sunday-only specials and new large sharable plates for the whole family. Kids menus will be available with the option to build your own stir fry with a choice of rice or noodles, veggies and meats. [Eaterwire]

BOULDEROn Tuesday, October 23, Frasca Food and Wine welcomes Gaia Gaja, export manager and daughter of the revolutionary Italian winemaker Angelo Gaja. She will join the Frasca team and a group of only 10 guests for an evening of conversation, cuisine, and extraordinary wine, including '07 Sperss, '06 Sori Tildin, and Barbaresco wines from '05, '06, '07 and '09. GOLDEN TRIANGLE— Between October, 21, 2012 and January 20, 2013, Palettes, the Kevin Taylor restaurant at the Denver Art Museum offers the Becoming Van Gogh Tasting Menu. The prix fix menu honors the Van Gogh exhibit at the museum by featuring traditional Provencal cuisine. The dishes are inspired by the artistic style that made Van Gogh famous, a style developed while living in the South of France in the late 19th century.
