Oak at Fourteenth Shows CU Buffs Spirit with Duck Roasting Operation

The Buffaloes, University of Colorado's football team, may not have a winning record this year. It may also not have much hope to beat rival team the Oregon Ducks. Boulder restaurant Oak at Fourteenth, however, came up with a food-centric way to give Buffs fans some satisfaction while the team plays the Ducks. Oak will be roasting whole ducks on their new rotisserie to show their home-team pride.

On Saturday, October 27, the rotisserie will be outside on the street right at Pearl Street and Fourteenth, an exhibition meant for all of Boulder to see. That night, the ducks will be served on the menu for dinner. The duck feast will include half a duck, which will serve two guests and will be accompanied with buckwheat crepes, house made hoisin, charred onion, pepper, raisin relish and forbidden black rice. The football-inspired meal costs $50 for two people.
