The youngest female brewery owner in the world, Meg Gill, of Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles, is headed to Oak at Fourteenth to pair her brews with chef Steven Redzikowski's Berkshire pork creations in what may be the coolest pre-GABF dinner around: the Beer and Berkshire event.

Gill, who is 27 years old, holds a degree from Yale and began her career in the beer world at Oskar Blues Brewery in Lyons where she served as regional sales manager. A year ago, Gill and parter Tony Yanow co-founded Golden Road Brewing, the largest craft brewery in Los Angeles County.

Oak at Fourteenth invited Golden Road Brewing to pair its beers in its annual Berkshire dinner and offer to Colorado beer lovers the chance to enjoy these brews that are not sold outside of Los Angeles County. To add to the fun, Oskar Blues was challenged to match up each of their former employee's cans. Everyone wins from this one: double beer coverage.

Beer & Berkshire will take place on October 10 and will feature 4 course tasting featuring Berkshire Pork and dueling cans from Golden Road Brewing and Oskar Blues Brewery for $65 per person plus tax and gratuity. Call 303.444.3622 to reserve your table.
