The sign is up, the bar is set up, and the chefs are hard at work at T|ACO, the urban taqueria that will open its doors this week in LoDo. The Mexican eatery will host friends and family for private opening parties this week and will open to the public on Friday, October 12 for lunch.
The space is modern, upscale and very comfortable. There is extensive bar seating, with high tables and also a good number of low tops for those ready to really sit and enjoy a meal. The offerings are similar to those at the Boulder T|ACO, but Denver will get a more extensive tequila list and a few new menu items like beef tongue tacos with red onions and salsa verde, a chicken mole verde, and different kinds of sopapillas. The real highlight is the extensive tequila list with over 80 different kinds available.
