Epicurious, a Grand Junction restaurant that occupied the space of a failed Smashburger, has closed its doors abruptly two weeks ago, Cafe Society reported. Epicurious was owned by Vance Johnson, one of the legendary Three Amigos who helped get the Denver Broncos to the Super Bowl in 1989. Johnson moved to the Western Slope and opened VJ's Outlaw Ribs in Parachute in 2007. That restaurant is still open. [CafeSociety]
