Giving Back For Thanksgiving: a Benefit, a Thanksgiving Dinners, and a Race

LOHI —On Wednesday, November 21, 2012, Central Bistro and Bar will host a pre-feast dinner and benefit with rolling seatings from 5 until 9 p.m. This four-course dinner paired with red and white wine costs $45, not including tax and gratuity. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds will go to the American Red Cross to aid in the Hurricane Sandy relief effort. Reserve your seat at 303.477.4582.

WASH PARK —On Thanksgiving Day, burn up the calories with the Mile High United Way 39th Annual Turkey Trot. More than ten thousand people flock down Wash Park for the four-mile fun run that starts at 10 a.m. at the west lawn of South High School. Registration is $39 prior to the race and $45 day of the race with proceeds benefitting the United Way's School Readiness, Youth Success and Adult Self-Sufficiency programs.
