Shake Things Up With Anika Zappe's PX Sparkler

Anika Zappe, rockstar bartender and beverage director at Le Grand Bistro and Punch Bowl Social, shared some cocktail mixing pointers and the recipe for the PX Sparkler in a video. Along with fellow barkeeps Collin and Patrick from Le Grand Bistro, Zappe presented a drink structured like a champagne cocktail, perhaps even the French 75.

The cocktail balances the sweetness of Pedro Ximénez Sherry and Domain the Canton ginger liqueur with fresh lemon juice and Angostura bitters. It is poured into champagne flutes and topped with dry sparkling wine. Learn to make it yourself or go get it at Le Grand Bistro.
