Seven Wine Wednesday Specials in Denver

From Sunday Suppers to Taco Tuesdays, alliterations are all the rage and Wine Wednesday is the alliteration du jour once a week at many restaurants and bars around town. The best bets today for a special on wine are here.

Solera hosts a weekly wine tasting on Wednesdays for $17 a person. Five wines are poured by reps from select vineyards or distributors who walk guests through each of pour sharing details and stories about the wine. The tasting generally takes place between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. in the bar area.

Beehive offers 30% off all bottled wines all day on Wednesday. The wine list is small but mighty with carefully selected bottles that range in geography from Burgundy to Piedmont, Russian River Valley, and Mendoza.

Central Bistro and Bar offers forty percent off all bottles of wine between 4:30 and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, as well as $5 select wines by the glass. This offer is also available during the same time on Thursday and Friday.

Other Wine Wednesday specials can be found weekly at Sketch, Crave Dessert Bar & Lounge, and Empire Lounge & Restaurant, and on the last Wednesday of each month at Morton's Steakhouse.
