Black Eye Coffee, the two month old coffeehouse in LoHi, was highlighted in the Denver Post. The coffee house, owned by Ali Elman, Dustin Audet and Gregory Ferrari, is committed to serving excellent coffee and pastries with no attitude or pretensions in an environment that is clean and aesthetically pleasing. In an eclecic space, the trio behind Black Eye features Boxcar Roasters beans, prepared using a pour-over cone filter, French press or the big guns, a Synesso espresso machine. [DP]
