Last night at Colt & Gray, some of Denver's most talented bartenders faced in the Pierre Ferrand Cognac 1840 Hospitality Mix-Off & Bartending Showdown. The winner of that competition was Adam Hodak of the Green Russell who created a cocktail called Larmes de Licorne, featuring Pierre Ferrand 1840, dry Curacao, chamomile syrup, citric acid, hum botanical spirit, and sparkling wine. The evening's gratuities were donated to Murray Aid, a fund established to set-off medical expenses for bartending legend Murray Stenson.
