Black Shirt Brewing and its story behind are uncovered by John Broening, chef and writer, in a special article for the Denver Post. The River North craft brewery ran by brothers Chad and Branden Miller and Chad's wife Carissa Miller has already been the subject of a program on the Discovery Channel, and is profiled in the forthcoming documentary, Crafting a Nation. Broening praises the rebellious brews that comes as close to art as they do to craft, perhaps in line with the new art-inspired mindset of culinary craftsmen. [DP]
