This 31st edition of the festival will take place June 14-16, 2013, bringing a three-day weekend of more than 80 cooking demonstrations and wine seminars, panel discussions, tasting events and the famed Grand Tasting Pavilion. Celebrity chefs and renowned wine experts confirmed to participate include Mario Batali, José Andrés, Tom Colicchio, Marcus Samuelsson, Andrew Zimmern, and Jacques Pépin, with many other culinary trendsetters expected to attend.
Among the highlights of this year's line-up are Mario Batali's Sicilian summer supper, oysters 10 ways with Jose Andres, do-it-yourself sausage with Chris Cosentino, and cooking demonstrations with the winner of Top Chef: Seattle (Season 10) in which Colorado still has chef Eliza Gavin of 221 South Oak Bistro in Telluride as well as a possibility of return for chef Tyler Wiard of Elway's in Denver.
Tickets for the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen are $1,150 before March 15, 2013 and $1,250 thereafter, and are available on the festival's website.
