Last week The Corner opened quietly on The Hill in Boulder in the old Del Taco location at 1100 13th Street Thrillist reported on the opening on Friday, December 14, providing interior shots of the minimalist 1500 square-foot space with just 12 tables inside and outdoor seating for warmer months. Opened by Peter Howser, (previous owner of this location's Del Taco) and Chris Grandinetti The Corner hopes to bring a healthy alternative to students and locals through the likes of Ozo coffee, breakfast all day, salads, soups, sandwiches and five signature Corner bowls. The Corner bowls range from the Paleo Bowl to the Coconut Curry Bowl - and all come with a house sauce, tons of veggies, a choice of protein, and a choice of grain.
The space has been redone and now features a simple contemporary interior, wooden tables, a frozen yogurt station with four rotating flavors and their soda machine just offers Boylan's Natural Soda. The Corner has no website or information online yet, but you can be reached at 720.398.8331.
