Pickled Lemon, the Mediterranean restaurant that the Udi's group opened on the Hill in Boulder in June, closed its doors quietly last week. The good news is that it may be reopening elsewhere. An announcement on the restaurant's Facebook page read: "Dear Pickled Lemon friends: We are closing our Boulder's store and looking for a new location. We will update you when we will open a new Pickled Lemon store."
The restaurant that sat fifty and was open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. featured authentic Middle Eastern food, from hummus to shawarma, falafel, and baba ganoush and sandwiches made on Udi's own Yemenite-style pita bread, a recipe that chef Robin Bar-On developed.
Fans will miss the eatery. Keep your eyes open for a new location announcement.
