The Crushery Closes and Sells Space to Sexy Pizza

Interesting news from Westword this morning: Not only has The Crushery on Old South Pearl gone dark as of today, but it will be replaced by Sexy Pizza. And why are we losing yet another restaurant on this hard knock street? According to Westword's interview with chef/owner John Davidson, the competition with neighbor Pajama Baking Company wasn't what he signed up for. He also realized that he's a much better chef than a restaurateur. And with that folks, the grand Pearl Street shutter-shuffle continues.
