Lucky Pie Pizza & Tap House LoDo

Oh hey, what do you know? Denver officially has its own Lucky Pie Pizza & Tap House as of today. Lucky Pie is another place where we can grab one of the best combinations known to man: pizza and beer. Owner Brendan McManus, who opened Lucky Pie in Louisville back in August 2010, started renovations in the old Dixon's space last October. The restaurant is debuting with chef Joseph Troupe, previously of Big Red F restaurant group. Though both Lucky Pies have similar menus, Troupe's Denver menu offers a bigger entrée selection and features a mozzarella tasting bar. As for beer — Lucky Pie Denver has 27 taps, and they're all ready to start pouring tonight at 6 p.m. when doors open. The restaurant will roll out its lunch menu starting next Monday.
