Teller's Taproom & Kitchen is now open, and though it's in Lakewood, Westword Cafe Society editor Lori Midson says it's different than the other under par places in the "vast culinary labyrinth of chains and uninspiring independent restaurants." Teller's comes from Larimer Associates (Corridor 44, TAG, Bistro Vendôme, etc), and the group says they chose Lakewood because it dying for a decent place to throw back some beers and enjoy dressed up pub grub in a "steampunk" (Victorian meets modern, apparently) environment. The restaurant wants to be your "third place" — a place you go when you're not at work or home, in "the culinary wasteland" that is Lakewood .
