Ambria Chef Gets The Axe During Restaurant Week

Westword's Lori Midson reports that Ambria executive chef Jeremy Kittelson got the axe yesterday, during restaurant week no less. Kittelson was enjoying a day off when he got the news, just moments after his sous chef was fired. As a result, the kitchen crew at Ambria followed him out. "I want to make it clear that I did not walk out," Kittelson told Midson, "and nor did I take my staff with me. I was fired and my staff, all of whom have worked with me in the past, left because they wanted to."

Ambria owners have not yet issued a statement regarding back of the house changes, but this weekend's reservations are secure. And rest assured, the menu will be the same.
