Big news in Breckenridge Brewery land: The brewery has outgrown its facilities, and Westword reports that there's some extensive expansion plans in the works. Not only will the brewery build a new 125,000-square-foot brewing facility with a tasting room, but there's also plans for another restaurant and a visitors center. As for an exact location, the brewery is eyeing land at the intersection of C-470 and W. Bowles Avenue. Breckenridge brewmaster Todd Ursy tells Westword that locations in Denver and Littleton are on the company's radar as well. With the new facility, "Usry projects that Breckenridge will brew at least 80,000 barrels next year and up to 130,000 barrels in 2015."
