The whole idea behind Adrift is that no one should feel like they're sipping mai tai cocktails and zombie drinks (yes, there's a zombie drink) on S. Broadway, and let it be known — this vacation-like concept is pretty successful. The tiki cocktail lounge features 40 rum varieties, a number of traditional (very strong) tiki cocktails and a well-composed menu of small plates created by exec chef Wade Kirwan. For now, Adrift doesn't have a sign outside, but it's hard to miss the bright blue facade. It will be even harder to miss once owners Jay Dedrick and Brent Kimball place giant, wooden tiki statues on each side of the entrance. It's not "certified open" to the public just yet, but a grand opening will be announced shortly.
