H|Burger Co.'s Boulder expansion is moving along with a new restaurant location opening on East Pearl Street this Thursday. H|Burger partner Josh Dinar says the new H|Burger location, which took the spot of The Pinyon, was a comfortable transition. The dining room was repainted and wallpapered, but the layout and open kitchen were relatively untouched. One cosmetic change includes the addition of cassette tape wall decor. To keep the collection going, H|Burger will give a free shot to any guest who contributes 14 cassette tapes. In other changes, Dinar says a couple menu additions can be expected, but nothing far from what's already offered at H|Burger's Denver locations.
Later this week, H|Burger hopes to announce an official opening date for much-anticipated T|ACO Boulder, a taqueria concept that was initially developed with Denver chef Troy Guard. When Guard announced to Eater that he was no longer a partner, it wasn't clear what would become of the taqueria, but Dinar confirms that all plans are still in place. Guard has signed on as a consulting chef for the concept, and H|Burger will indeed open a second T|ACO in Denver this summer. T|ACO Denver will open in the former 8 Rivers Space, pending final lease details.
