On last night's episode of Around the World in 80 Plates, Denver chef Jenna Johansen found herself on the losing team, again. Luckily, Johansen made the cut — a) because she didn't volunteer to poorly execute a quenelle, b) she knows how to count, and c) because she wasn't the chef that doubted her ability with a composed, poached egg salad. But hey, if you ask Sai (who lost, by the way), poached eggs aren't common in Thai cuisine. Give the chef a break. [EaterWire]
