Hip-Hop and Food Trucks; Avery's First Restaurant

TAXI— Tomorrow night, the Justice Leauge of Street Food is kicking off the season with a huge hip-hop block party. The gang includes: The Biscuit Bus, Biker Jim, Sully's Slice Truck, Pinche Tacos, Denver Cupcake Truck, Steuben's, Stick It to Me and Quiero Arepas. Manna from Heaven and Mestizos will also be joining the party, with music from DJ LOWKEY and performances from Bianca Mikahn, Turner Jackson and 1984. CAP HILL—Ryan DiFranco will open difranco's, a new pasta bar and deli, next week on May 23rd at 955 Lincoln St. The restaurant will feature items from local favorites like Red Bird Farms, Cottonwood Creek Farms, il Mondo Vecchio, Tabor Mountain Bakehouse and Morning Fresh Dairy. [Examiner]
