RIP529.jpg Jerry Krantz, owner of El Chapultepec jazz club, died this morning at 77 years old after battling diabetes, heart disease and a series of strokes. Krantz, described by Esquire as a charismatic, "full-blooded Russian," hosted talents like Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Bono, Ella Fitzgerald and Paul McCartney. [DP]
