Contestants For Denver Burger Battle Revealed

The contestants have been revealed and the judges have been named — Denver's 2012 Burger Battle is on! Chefs from ChoLon, TAG, Madison Street, H|Burger Co., City Grille, Larkburger, Crave Real Burgers, Highland Tap & Burger, Park Burger, Row 14 Bistro & Wine Bar, Mateo Provencal and The Sink will throw it down on August 22nd for a panel of chef judges and hundreds of burger enthusiasts. Sure, some of these places earned bragging rights for burgers priced below $7, while others climbed to fame with burgers at twice the price — but all reputations aside, it just comes down to who makes the city's best. This year's judging panel includes Jenna Johansen of Bravo's Around the World in 80 Plates, Max MacKissock of The Squeaky Bean, Daniel Asher or Root Down and Linger and Top Chef Season 5 winner Hosea Rosenberg of Blackbelly Catering. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
