Whether or not you're a fan of wine in a can — or Infinite Monkey Theorem's annoyingly trendy monkey-wine bottles corked with glass — there's no denying that urban winemaker Ben Parsons is one hell of an innovator. And people, he's bringing Boulder chef Kelly Whitaker of Pizzeria Basta to Denver. Well, for a few nights a week, at least. Parsons tells Westword that he'll relocate his winery to River North, where he plans on building a glorious tasting room equipped with a pizza oven manned by Whitaker. "The menu is still being finalized, but we'll probably do pizzas, maybe tacos and we can even do whole pigs in there, Parson says. He'll also introduce a wine keg-filling station and a rooftop deck, and an outdoor space where he'll host farmers' markets, food trucks and live music.
