House Bill 1347, which would allow Colorado breweries to exceed the 60,000-barrel annual production limit, has flat-out died. It's not even going up for debate. This is a big bummer for Breckenridge Brewery, which has plans to expand its facilities to produce up to 75,000 barrels a year. The brewery now faces the decision of opening the new brewery without a brewpub, or worse, taking expansion plans to another state. [DBJ]
