Over the weekend at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Alex Seidel of Fruition (2010 Best New Chef winner) opened Chefs Club by Food & Wine with George Mendes of Aldea in New York (2011 winner), James Lewis of Bettola in Birmingham, AL (2010 winner) and Sue Zemanick of Gautreau’s in New Orleans (2008 winner). The new restaurant, located in the St. Regis Aspen Resort, will feature dishes from Seidel, Mendes, Lewis and Zemanick for half a year.
