Boxcar Coffee Roasters, Coming To Denver This Fall

Back in April, Eater reported rumors that Boulder's acclaimed Boxcar Coffee Roasters was planning a Denver location, and sure enough, it's happening. Andra Zeppelin, public relations for the Taxi Community, confirms that Boxcar has signed a lease to open a second coffee shop in Drive — a four-story, 38,000 square foot commercial development in the Taxi Community slated to open this fall. "The Boxcar Coffee bar will be relatively small — the actual bar of a similar size to the space in Boulder. The aim is to provide the Taxi Community with exceptional coffee throughout the day and as well as attract Boxcar fans and coffee fanatics to this first Denver location," Zeppelin disclosed. Boxcar will share the first floor of Drive with Pit Stop, chef Bob Blair's casual extension of Fuel Cafe, and a hair salon. Both Boxcar and Pit Stop hope to open by the end of September.
