Why There's No 'U' in TRVE; New E. Colfax Tortas

BROADWAY— TRVE, a new brewery opening on June 27th at 227 Broadway, is pronounced "TRUE," but owner and brewer Nick Nunns will be damned if there's a "U" in the brewery's name. Denver Off The Wagon recently sat down with Nunns to learn more about the brewery, and asked about the spelling: "Why does Nick Nunns hate the letter 'u' so much? 'She’s an oppressive, curvy bitch.'" Huh. Anyway — Nunns will pour four beers when he opens on the 27th, including Wanderlust, Prehistoric Dog, Black Cascade and Tunnel of Trees. [DOTW]
