Daily Camera critic Liz Moskow awarded Carelli's two stars for food and service, and three stars for ambiance in today's review: "Don't get fancy and order anything ending in a consonant. Don't believe the waiter when he tries to suggest otherwise. Chicken, even eggplant parmigiana, risotto, or scampi, all will be better and less expensive choices that will likely have your tongue singing a verse of 'Volare' and perhaps even 'That's Amore' if you've ordered correctly and picked something with their Sunday scented red marinara. Mangia!" [DC]
