The whole spat between chef Samir Mohammad and owner Lisa Lapp over at The Village Cork last month wasn't exactly the cleanest break-up, but as of recent news, both parties have official moved on and licked their wounds. Mohammad landed the exec gig at Lala's Wine Bar + Pizzeria, and The Village Cork has announced Pete Ryan, executive chef instructor at Cook Street School of Culinary Arts, as the restaurant's new executive chef. Ryan, who held the exec post at Z Cuisine back in 2010, is a certified Chef de Cuisine through the American Culinary Federation, as well as a certified Sommelier and a certified Chef of Wine Arts.
