Yesterday marked a monumental day in LoHi when chef/owner Justin Cucci lifted his 1975 RV and a food trailer on top of Linger, his hotter than hot morturary-turned-eatery. As reported by Eater back in January, Cucci and chef Daniel Asher will serve Linger's popular street eats on top of the restaurant, where a new deck has been outfitted with about 100 seats. The RV has been decked out with a kitchen, and the food trailer will serve as a separate bar for the rooftop. There's no official date when the new patio space will open to the public, but Linger representatives tell Eater that Cucci is looking at a mid-July grand opening.
