The Daily Camera reports that the owners of K's China in Boulder have sued the Boulder liquor board after suspending the restaurant's liquor license on "grounds of concern for public safety and welfare." So what exactly makes this establishment worthy of concern? Typical college town drinking drama, by the sounds of it: noise complaints, fake IDs, assaults (including glass bottles being dropped from the roof), $5 triple-shot drinks, etc. But the owners of K's China say the board's actions were "arbitrary and capricious and exceeded the jurisdiction." The city has yet to respond. [DC]
