Denver Food & Wine; New Novo Coffeehouses

EVENT WIRE— The eighth annual Denver Food & Wine hurrah will take place Sep. 5-8 at the Metropolitan State University Denver campus. The event includes a variety of seminars, demos, tastings and special meals prepared by some of Colorado's best chefs. Participating chefs include Elise Wiggins of Panzano, Daniel Asher of Root Down, Frank Bonanno of Bonanno Concepts and more. Tickets for each event can be purchased by visiting denverfoodandwine.com.

BROADWAY— Crimson Canary will host Bacchus Raucous on Sep. 15 — an all-you-can-eat-and-drink event with live music, all for the price of $60. Costumes encouraged. [EaterWire]

COFFEE CULTURE— Cafe Society has great news for Novo Coffee fanatics: two new coffeehouses are on the way! Look for a new coffeehouse/retail outlet at 1600 Glenarm St. mid-November, and another next to Satchel's on Sixth at 6th Ave. and Gilpin by the close of the year. [Cafe Society]
