GABF WIRE— Cafe Society exchanged emails with the chap who posted his Great American Beer Festival ticket on ebay for $50,000. Why'd he do it? Of course it won't sell, but here's a piece of his reasoning: "I don't think GABF should be a more exclusive event. PLATTE ST. — From 4-7 p.m. this evening, Steve Kurowski of the Colorado Brewers Guild will bartend at Denver Beer Co. (1695 Platte St.) to promote SOCIAL (Supporter Of Colorado Indigenous Ale and Lager), a $25 club membership that includes beer swag and brewery discounts. [DOTW]
