Big Easy Creole Kitchen Debuts Tonight in Cherry Creek

Big Easy Creole Kitchen opens tonight at 5 p.m. The New Orleans inspired eatery is a creation from chef/owner George Gastl. The menu will have a fresh and local approach to Louisianna-style fare. Tuck into one of the burgundy booths for some gumbo, sweetbreads, or blackened shrimp. Grab a hurricane or sazerac at the Voodoo Bar complete with a real voodoo doll.

Gastl is a Denver native where he worked at the now defunct Sfuzzi's and Mel's Bar and Grill. He was the executive chef of Ristra's in Sante Fe, and cooked in New Orleans at the Palace Cafe. His time in The Big Easy gave him inspiration to open a Cajun/Creole concept in Denver.
