While diners anxiously await the opening of The Populist, they can head to their coffee shop Crema at 2862 Larimer Street and check out the new pastry chef's skills. Victoria Caldwell, who has baked in Denver and Portland, is offering biscuits and muffins with flavors like sweet corn with green chile and blueberry lavender.
