RIP at Linger, $52.80 Deal at Row 14; Dry Dock Tapping

LOHI Tonight, January 14, starting at 6 p.m., Linger hosts RIP, an industry-friendly evening filled with guest bartenders and special on drinks and food. Courtney Wilson of Williams & Graham and S.r. Madison of Sputnik will be behind the bar mixing $5 cocktails like the Orgasmatron, a vodka, orange, cream, egg white, and vanilla combination and the Overkill, which combines gin with Chartreuse, lemon, and earl grey simple syrup. BOULDERDry Dock Brewery will feature its first cask ale in Boulder at Backcountry Pizza and Tap House on Wednesday, January 16. The tapping is at 6 p.m. and the first 50 people receive a free Dry Dock pint glass. The featured beer is a firkin of our Stranahan's Whiskey Oaked Wee Heavy Strong Scotch Ale, 9.5% ABV, which replicates a whiskey barrel-aged beer using a stainless steel vessel. [Eaterwire]

DOWNTOWNRow 14 Bistro & Wine Bar features a $52.80 menu for two on Sundays and Mondays. Chef Tim Payne, who took over the kitchen at Row 14 a couple of months ago, creates three course menus for guests for these nights of the week.
