Remodels Are In: Parisi Closed Sunday For a Makeover

There is a flurry of remodels taking over Denver restaurants and it is not slowing down. Late last year, Gaetano's, the staple Italian restaurant in North Denver, closed its doors for a massive makeover. From January 1 through January 8, Bistro Vendôme was closed to replace all floors from the kitchen to the front of the house and bar area. Jax closed on January 1 to undergo its own transformation (reopening Friday, January 18) and Tamayo closed yesterday, Sunday, January 13 for the same reason.

The latest to join the renovation trend is Parisi, the Highlands eatery, where construction began yesterday, Sunday January 13. Parisi, including its separate dining area named Firenze a Tavola, anticipates reopening in a couple of weeks, ready to welcome the Valentine's Day and Denver Restaurant Week guests. Early February, Spuntino, the LoHi neighborhood restaurant that chef John Broening and pastry chef Yasmin Lozada-Hissom helm, will temporarily close as well to make some changes to the space.
